Kathryn had to say...

I am a professional quilter,  and love all things quilting. I also do counted cross stitch and crochet (and very little knitting). I love watching birds, too. I own a business (see link) that specializes in fabric book covers, checkbook covers, quilts and other items including books. I am all about quilting and words -- writing and reading! My favorite thing to do is to create and sew while listening to audiobooks (unabridged, of course!)

The picture was taken in Kansas, where I grew up. I love wheatfields! Now I love the beautiful Appalachian Mountains where I live with my family.

I'd like to send and receive a book from every state.

I'd like to have trades in every state...

I've received one from every state EXCEPT:

  1. Idaho
  2. North Dakota
  3. Montana
  4. Hawaii

If you live in one of these states, please do PM me and ask me to look at your shelves. I'd like to have a book from your state!

I love the idea of sending and receiving a book from each and every state. Were you able to do so since your posting? If so, congratulations. Happy Reading!!

Hi Kathryn-

My name is Judy and you were assigned to me to be my Tour Guide. I know that you were probably assigned to me randomly, but I feel that God chose you as I also love to crochet. I never was good at sewing, but I also love quilts. I used to embroider until the stoped making what I call printed on fabric embroidery. I tried about a dozen times a very small counted cross stich kit, but I always missed stitches. I also like to do plastic canvas needle point. Maybe we can swap crochet patterns.

I like most types of books, but my favorite genres are: Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery and Historical fiction.

Looking forward to "meeting" you. Hugs, Judy
